What is your first sports memory? The memory that sticks out in my brain is the one that defined me as a fan. I was ten years old and was at a roller skating rink with my elementary school. I remember looking up at a giant television and seeing an older looking man playing baseball. Turns out he wasn't that old. He was aptly nick-named "The Bulldog." It was the 1995 World Series and the Cleveland Indians were playing the Atlanta Braves. I took one look at Orel Hershiser and said "I'm an Indians fan."
What is your dream sporting event to attend? Cougs winning a Rose Bowl. Hands down.
What is your favorite sports movie? Bull Durham.
Why do you want to host your own show on The FAN? As an avid listener of sports radio, we often find people with only opinions and loud voices. The shows that I listen to on a constant basis have hosts that focus more on the explanation of why things happened, not brash controversial statements to create a brand or personality. Let your knowledge and passion come out through your voice and people will respect what you have to say. I listen to The FAN every day and if I could bring something to the table that could help explain why things happen, even if it's a very small sliver of pie, then we may be better off.
Anything else you want people to know about you? I'm willing to admit when I'm wrong. Even if it kills me, I will give you credit.
